Chronic health conditions do not just affect the person living with it, it can often impact relationships. Carers and loved ones can feel lonely, drained, burnt-out, guilty, anxious, resentful, and sad. They may feel their bad days and stressors are not enough to warrant support in comparison to the other person and so do not seek help. Partners, relatives, and friends may feel at a loss as to how to support the person and may grieve over the change in dynamics of the relationship. â€‹
